Philanthropy
Significant donations from philanthropists like you are vital to our work with children and adults with deafblindness.
At Sense International we build mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships with philanthropists who believe in a world where every person with deafblindness receives the support they need to live, learn and thrive.
By giving a generous donation you will change the life of a person with deafblindness. That’s why we are committed to making sure you see the impact that your gift has. Through tailored and bespoke communications, we will bring you closer to our work, giving you a deep insight into the difference that you are making.
Ways to give
Join our Ambassador’s Circle
By becoming a Sense International Ambassador, you will join a group of dedicated individuals who have a vital role to play.
By pledging your support, Sense International can be nimble, flexible and efficient as your donation will be directed to wherever the need is greatest, reaching some of the world’s most marginalised people.
As a Sense International Ambassador you will:
- Receive bespoke communications about our work.
- Be invited to exclusive online and in-person events attended by fellow Ambassadors, Sense International experts, our President Lord Levy and, on occasion, our Patron, HRH The Princess Royal.
- Receive an annual report about how your gift has transformed lives.
- Be recognised in Sense International’s Annual Review as our way of saying thank you.
We ask all Ambassadors to commit to giving a minimum donation of £5,000. You can choose to give by Direct Debit or make a one-off donation. Your incredible commitment will create lasting change for people with deafblindness.

Fund a specific area of our work
By funding a specific area of our work, you will make a difference to the lives of people with deafblindness in an area that is of interest to you.
Perhaps you have a particular interest, such as programmes for young children with deafblindness, promoting inclusive education, or vocational training for young people with deafblindness?
Wherever your interest lies, we would love to hear from you and work together to find the right programme to suit your philanthropic mission. Find out more about our specific intervention areas.
