Global Deafblindness Resource Hub

The Global Deafblindness Resource Hub is a new online platform created by Sense International. It provides people with deafblindness, and those who support them, with accessible content, information and resources.

We are leading the way by creating this hub after listening to people with deafblindness and their families about what matters most to them.

Why the Hub?

Our work has shown access to information for people with deafblindness and their families and carers is sought after within a user friendly and digital space.  There is a need to draw together resources and information to build better access.

What is the purpose of the Hub?

The Hub will offer a ‘one stop shop’ of information that can guide and navigate people with deafblindness and their wider support networks to understand and connect with useful information, local signposted services, and networks.

The Hub is available in 7 languages including:

Working directly with people with deafblindness, we want to reach beyond the borders of our eight countries, supporting them to connect with others and to the world around them.

What resources are on the Hub?

Every country has resources specific to the information, advice and support available  to people with deafblindness and those that support them within that country. Resources range from parent guides, information about disability rights to wellbeing tips and videos for people with deafblindness. Some examples from some of the countries include:

Every country also signposts people on locally available news, books, mobile apps, assistive technology and local support from other organisations.

Where is the Hub available?

The hub is available online anywhere. As long as someone has access to a device that can connect the internet, they can visit the Hub from anywhere.
