Send My Friend to School coalition publishes ‘Unlocking education for everyone’ report

The image of the cover is a school child in a blue uniform smiling into to the camera.Today (11 February), Send My Friend to School published a report challenging the UK Government to turn policy commitments into action to reach the furthest behind and unlock education for everyone. The coalition, which Sense International is part of, is calling on the UK Government to lead globally, work with countries, and invest more, and more equitably, in education to ensure the promise of education for all is achieved by 2030 and that no child or young person is left behind.

Send My Friend to School is a UK civil society coalition of international development NGOs, teachers unions and charities. The campaign undertakes a range of activities designed to increase community awareness of the state of education internationally and generate the political will necessary to ensure the UK plays an active and effective part in efforts to secure education for all. Send My Friend to School is the UK coalition of the Global Campaign for Education movement which is present in over 80 countries around the world, and aligns its work with the organisation’s mission and aims.
